I'm a writer-director from Texas, based in Austin. I make documentaries about Texas legends and the people who keep traditions alive, and I direct commercials for brands like Frito-Lay, Hershey's and Yuengling.
My shorts have played Tribeca, SFFILM (Golden Gate Award), SIFF, Mountainfilm and more than 20 other festivals. They've picked up four Vimeo Staff Picks and run on Short of the Week, Aeon and PBS.
I started out crewing on Austin indies for Augustine Frizzell, David Lowery, Yen Tan and Don Swaynos, then built a career making short documentary portraits of artists around the world.
Austin production company for commercials and documentaries, founded in 2019 by Travis Lee Ratcliff, Brody Carmichael and Emily Basma. We direct and produce branded work and our own films, and we produce shorts for Austin filmmakers, including AFS grant and SXSW alumni Chinwe Okorie, Bita Ghassemi, Joey Hunt and Fatima Wardy.
